The wife clogged up the kitchen plumbing...again. This time it was too clogged to clear with my handy dandy drill powered plumbing snake so I needed something a bit more effective or I could call a plumber. If you knew me you would know that I would rather eat my children than pay for a plumber so that was not an option.So...I did ANOTHER internet search on how to clear a clog. Hydro- jetting came up as an option. I searched local options (Big Box stores) and they were very expensive $150+ and none of them were in stock. I searched Amazon and found this product. Searched YouTube for reviews. Found a good one that showed how to use it. I was sold. Ordered it Sunday Night and it was delivered Tuesday.I took it out of the box and set it up (Super easy) and pulled the pressure washer out of the nightmare mess I call a Garage. Connected everything, unscrewed the cover off the clean out access and started the pressure washer and fed this in to the drain line. I fed about 40 feet of the 70 feet I had and within 3 or 4 minutes the line was clear. I put everything away and told the wife it was fixed. She responded with "Thank you so much....but I didn't clog it....this time" Thankfully she didn't see me roll my eyes else I would have not survived long enough to write this review.I'm confident I will never again have to struggle with a clog my wife didn't cause.... :)I highly recommend this product and at $53 it was less than half of the first hour of a service call from a plumber.I was told the sewer line had collapsed and was permanently clogged. The plumber stated he was unable to get a clean-out snake through the line. Well two retired pipe fitters told me to order this and they would give it a try. I worked like a charm. The line is clear and all drains actually drain like brand new. It really worked!!ordered 70 foot but got 50 footgood productI bought the 25 ft. I think 50 ft would have been a better option. Used it to wash out laundry drain, which is only 1.5" pipe. Even though the line i needed to clean was less than 25 feet, i also wanted to keep the power washer outside to avoid the build up of toxic fumes in the basement. Hence why i recommend the 50 ft for short lines also. The nozzles worked great. I had rented a snake from home depot for $60 and it couldn't do the job of letting more water volume pass through. This did it for half the price and i get to keep it for future clogs.I had an issue with a drain in front of the garage that was completely clogged. Called a plumber for an estimate and there was talk of breaking up the concrete etc etc. Thousands of dollars and a mess along with a headache.I decided to give it a try myself. I have a pressure washer so why not. I used a sump pump to remove the water and mud/pollen/leaves etc that were jetted out and just kept at it. After 40 minutes of running this thing came the magical sound of water and debris rushing through the drain.SO YES!! THIS THING ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT!!!!!!!!Will not turn on a 90. I could only clear the straight sections.I used it on a foundation drain that was root clogged, 75 foot run with a 2500psi pressure washer, it took a couple of hours and worked great.
