Lights was easy to put on and are super bright the only thing I don't like about them is the Bluetooth keeps disconnecting other then that worth the moneyI installed these in my son's car and the only thing we had to make sure was that not only was his interior cleaned and wiped down, but placement as well. We were able to install these under the dash on driver and passenger size and just the one strip each was more than enough to light up underneath. With the other 2 strips, we ended up installing them under each driver and passenger seat. Again, we just made sure that under the seats were clean and wiped down. Once that was done, we downloaded the app and connected the lights to his phone bluetooth. This was very easy to do because once we plugged the lights on, it was already searching to connect to a bluetooth device. What is really cool about these lights is you decide on if you want a solid color, the colors to fade in and out to change or it can go along with your music. The settings are really easy to configure and the lights are not too bright that they're blinding while you drive. We did do a test run at night and they really do look cool. However, depending on the color of the lights, they can show dirt which gets him to clean his car more often. Really easy to install and after having these installed for about a month, they're still holding strong.These are made to go under the vehicle, but I have been wanting to light my truck bed up to be able to see into it at night. I also wanted it as a light on the top of my toolbox. To be clear I had to make a number of modifications to make it reach to the back. It was a pain to splice all of those tiny wires, but that's on me, since I was using it for a purpose other that it was designed for, so not a problem with the product. The 3m adhesive on the lights is strong, although I did prep the areas with an alcohol swab to make sure the surface was clean. The LEDs were in a clear sturdy enclosure.Installation requires you to find an acc fuse in your vehicle. you may need a part that converts a single fuse into 2. If you are lucky, you will find one in the engine compartment. Unfortunately for me, the acc fuses were located in the cab under the dash, so I had to feed the power cable through the firewall. Fortunately, a little youtube research showed that there as a place to accomplish this. It required a bit of contorting on my part and a little understanding of 12 volt systems, but I was able to make it work without too much effort.The app could. use a little work as there is a lot of Chinese characters w/o english translation. Took a bit, but if you are reasonably tech savvy, you can figure it out.Overall it would have been a lot easier if had mounted them under the car rather than using them as I did, but I am pleased with the result.I’ve always been a fan of Christmas lights and all kinds of colored lighting. That’s probably why I decorated my entire house with smart lighting. I was super excited to be able to add these colored LEDs to my car. The installation was pretty easy. The only questionable step was making sure that the control was in an easy place to access without being in the way.The cables were easy to hide in the flooring and around the seats. I put two of the strips under the driver and passenger seats toward the back so that the backseat floorboard was lit and the other two strips I ran to the front of the car and placed underneath the front console.The adhesive seems to be plenty strong and the LEDs lit up the car really well. My favorite feature is the setting where they react to music and other sounds. I’m not a huge fan of the app. It works and is functional, but the design of it is very generic. The app does, however, give you a lot more control over the lights than the button controls do. I did notice that the lights get a little warm - but no hot - the longer they are on. Aside from that, they are a lot of fun to have in the car and great for driving at night.These lights worked for about less than 3 months. When I turned them off from the app like I always did, for some a green light still stayed on under the vehicle and caused my battery to die. The seller was cool about it and sent me a replacement, however the new replacement uses a different app. called smart life which is a hassle to connect to & these lights will not connect to the app to be controlled anymore. If you buy be prepared to remove the fuse and plug it back for them to work without being able to control or change the colors. Not worth it.Was worth 25$ but really is only good for cars not trucksGreat lights, but the software is a little buggy and you have to buy some electrical attachments to connect to the battery or fuse box.These lights are really nice and seem good, but the app isn't working for me. I try and register and make an account but for some reason I fill in the info and it says the account information is wrong. I wonder if what I'm writing in the account line is wrong?? Any help would be appreciated.Product is okay good quality but no instructions to have a app on your mobile phone to adjust the colours.The glue that holds the casing has failed and the stop is now hanging loose. I initially loved the product I thought it was excellent and exactly what I wanted.
