The set up was fairly easy once I realized it connects via wifi instead of bluetooth (the instructions give step by step instructions, but I went rogue.) The camera is very clear and it is pretty cool to be able to record what the inside of your ear canal looks like :P My husband uses ear plugs every night, so he has plenty of issues with ear wax. After his last Dr. visit I decided to save some money and try to keep them clear myself. We purchased this tool as well as some drops the Dr. recommended to help soften the wax. I also purchased an ear cleaning kit to fill with warm water to squirt in the ear and keep it clean. Even tho there was a little investment, in the long run it will be easier and less expensive than his trips to the doctor. I like this tool for seeing how much wax is in the ear, and after using the water to clear the wax, checking to make sure we got it all out. I don't think this tool works the best for removing the wax, it is more so just to see it.Should have different end.. maybe corkscrew plasticFor the little bit of wax i got out of my ear, this was an interesting waste of money. It's kinda cool to look in your ear, remove a tiny crumb, but unless there's something medically wrong with you and you're producing a massive amount or earwax, this is just a novelty item.It is fairly easy to set up. The camera quality is okay. It gets blurry and glitches often. The stem is too thick for my ears and makes it hard to get in there. The camera gets really blurry and ear hairs make it hard to see. The scoop is not very useful. I think if the stem were thinner and the camera closer to the tip it would work better.I enjoyed using this device. My daughter got something stuck in her ear and I was able to look in and see what it was. I had a dr remove it...it was too far in. I did like it...however....it stopped working after the fifth use.
