This is a review of the gutter cleaning attachment for Ego leaf blowers. I have used a variety of tools to clean my gutters, from the "salad tongs on a pole" to tube attachments for my Toro corded leaf blower and my Ryobi leaf blower. This one is the most effective so far. The salad tongs are time consuming and leave dirt and sand in the gutters. The corded leaf blower has the danger of managing a cord while controlling the blower and long tube. The Ryobi and other "generic" attachments do not stay attached. This attachment was designed for the blower, attaches securely, and is fairly easy to control. Be advised, controlling an 8-foot tube with a powerful blast of air coming out laterally from the end, is not going to be easy. With a little practice, you will be impressed with the results (wear a hat and eye goggles--the results are VERY impressive).Ego could make improvements on the design. The end piece, which rotates to face the direction you wish to blow the contents of your gutters, tends to loosen from the piece it is connected to. All of the joints tend to loosen with use. I'm thinking of applying duct tape to each joint next time.Still, this product works better than any alternative.
